Not by you but I remember this being said about TK just sayin.

Lol Hope the kid comes around but he def shouldn't be wasting a rooster spot anymore. Yeah all I heard about this kid and still hear about him is "He tore it up in the Jr's" problem is they actually hit your ass in the NHL.

I think because hes only 20 he is not strong enough yet. Hopefully he comes around but im pretty sure he wont be a top three player but who knows.

Well I could def see him on a strong third line. Hopefully we can be rolling like that when this all comes together in a couple of years, or whatever the plan is?

A very good game, got to get better on letting the fowards get behind our defense but all in all a great effort. I'll be the first to admit I was down on Roo but he has bounced back and shut me up for good!

It should be clear to all of us by now that Giroux is still elite. After what appears to have been a strong offseason of training and now being 100% healthy, he often looks explosive and is routinely making very high skill passes and shots. It's almost like he's back to being one of the top ten or so players in the world after he was completely left for dead just a season ago. I am obviously loving this because I never gave up on the guy.

Furthermore, G is on pace for 93 points, which would tie his career high. That's also 35 more than he had last season. He's also on pace for 35-36 goals, which would easily surpass his career high of 28. I could see his goal total dropping some because he's shooting a ridiculous percentage, but his assist numbers may increase to make up for it. Either way, we have to give the captain props for really stepping up his game seemingly to everything it used to be, and maybe more.

I really want to check this kid out Carter Hart.

I think he's going to be a legend, quite frankly. I know that's a lot of pressure or praise to heap on a 19 year old kid, but he looks truly like the best goalie prospect we've ever had. It's pretty exciting to think about.

While it's probably not very likely, I hope he's the starting goalie for the Flyers during the 2019-20 season. He could theoretically start for the Phantoms the season before and if he's as good as we expect him to be, there would be no reason not to promote him the following season as Neuvy and Elliott will be gone.

It's only a question of how the franchise feels about a 21 year old being our starting goalie. That seems very rare in the Nhl at that particular position, but if he's got the skills, he should play.

Also, Couturier just tied his career high of 15 goals and is only 9 points shy of his career high in points. He's going to absolutely blow these numbers away. If he keeps this pace up, I could see him winning the Selke this season. Who exactly would beat him?

You are right that you never gave up on him and he is back to being a force on offense. Top ten players in the league might be a stretch though. I am happy that he is producing again and the move to wing was genius.

I think we still have Elliot under contract for next season also?
