If the rest of the SEC wasnt pussies and listened to Saban then we would have 9 Conference games and 1 P5 OOC game. But Yeah, your right, last years USC game wasnt tough at all.

There really isn't much point in scheduling tough OOC anymore. Ultimately you need to lose 1 time or less and win your league ( if you make the title game ). Those really seem to be the only vriteria. We can argue semantics and shit but no 2 loss team has gotten in so scheduling tough OOC is pointless and no team has made it after losing their CCG ( even if they were unbeaten going in ) so you're better off not making it as a one loss team than you are losing the game as an unbeaten

I believe Socal is saying theres a differential between a neutral site OOC season opener.And a home and home against a top tier opponent.I liked SC and Bama scheduling each other.But a home and home would have been more impressive.I get Saban is for a 9 game conference schedule.Hopefully the rest of the conference passes it at some point
