The Rams have been impressive. Rams fans are happy as hell. Looking at your Master vent thread, it’s all wine and roses this season. However the NFL is about cycles, you have your up period and you have your down period. Rams haven’t hit the down period yet, let’s see how it goes when the Rams hit the down cycle.

We're just getting started my man. Young with a new coach.

Players just starting to believe and we still have room to peak.

The master vent thread.. lol. Man that thing was a staple for a decade it seemed

I expect the Rams to be the team the Seahawks battle for the division going forward for a bit. However thus far it’s been pretty much all good for the Rams, bumps in the road are coming, let’s see how they handle that then we can talk.

Some think we gotta win every game by 40 or the team is fatally flawed.

It's called, taking the team for Granted... Many fans seem to forget just how dry the well use to be...

Gurley got mauled and Goff with less than 50% completion rate. One would think Seattle's D played a hand in your loss at home.
Guess not, eh?

A couple of things I think of when talking about this team. I agree about Cable being a terrible O-line coach. He isn't "coaching" these guys. False starts, holding penalties game after game but the real bad part about it is when the penalties occur. Costing us 3rd down conversions and momentum and making RW play from behind the sticks, time after time.
As for losing to the Skins, yeah, it's shitty but honestly, I thought they would beat the Skins and lose in Zona and it was the other way around. Sure, it would be better to win both games and losing to the Skins the way we did is depressing as hell but taking everything personally and acting like it's the end of the world is pointless.
Let's recap just a little, shall we. The team is 6-3 and they have won 5 of the last 6, including @the Rams. Maybe some ugly shit along the way but the bottom line is wins and losses. I thought at the start of the season, we would be looking at either 10-6 or 11-5 to win this division. That is still pretty realistic, imo.
As for the Rams, yes, they are greatly improved and have looked great this season for the most part but they have to come and win in our house next month to win this division. We will see what happens. I'm happy Rams fans are so optimistic after getting rid of that idiot Fisher but their schedule is not an easy one. Hell, they got into a shootout with the Niners. They have to face the Eagles and Saints yet and a couple of road games that aren't gimmes.
Lots of football left and I have said year after year that the real season doesn't start until after Thanksgiving and I ain't talking our Canuck Thanksgiving. Cheers all. Go Hawks.

We coughed it up 5 times and still almost won on the last possession. Muffed punt was one and you all scored 16 points. That was your best win by far. You all lost to Washington at home recently. So in regards to you all being Super Bowl contenders, I think it's a stretch.

We are a much different team since that loss. And I'm not preaching the Rams as Super Bowl contenders btw

The rams are evidence what new coaches can do to bring new life into an offense.

The old stagnant jeff fisher offense is a lot like the old stagnant bevell offense.

LOL... Rams lost to the Skins too at home, no? Congrats, Rams look like they're on the up and up but I wouldn't be too cocky... Your team is very inexperienced when it comes to the postseason... I like the Hawks chances in the postseason over the Rams...

Are you assuming the Hawks played a perfect game? We had a few TO's ourselves... Goff was hit over and over during that game, which is why he only completed only 46% of his passes... He had the deer in the headlights look that game due to the constant pressure from our front 4... Our Front 7 also held Gurley to 43 yards rushing... That was the first and only time the Rams have faced a good defense all year and they failed...

Let see, the Rams have beaten... Out of these 7 wins, you only faced one good QB... The rest aren't that good...
  • Blake Bortels
  • Scott Tolzien
  • Bobby Hoyer (49ers put up 39 pts on you guys)
  • Dak Prescott
  • Stanton/Palmer
  • Tom Savage
  • Eli Manning

Let's see who the Rams lost to... Out of these 2 losses, both are pro bowl type QB's...
  • Russell Wilson
  • Kirk Cousins
Wait till you guys can real some consistent wins off against good, quality QB's before you get too excited because that's what you'll be facing in the postseason... You've had a very easy schedule so far to date... You can't say your best win was against the Seahawks, because you never beat us... Just sayin'...

Yeah our best win was against the Rams only because it's a divisional game but outside of that, our best win for the season was against the Texans due to how good they were playing when they had Watson as their QB... Good thing the Rams got to face Savage instead of Watson...

Rams are 7-2 and their fans are over the top.
Hawks are 6-3 and fans are calling for heads to roll.
Interesting perspective.

I'd say the Rams fans are pretty humble at least the ones I know. We've been through 15 years of badness. NO reason to jump the gun and it's still early.

But in reality we are playing pretty good on both sides and you all?? Not sure what to think about the Seahawks. @HaroldSeattle will tell you. I pulled for you all plenty of times in the playoffs.

Just keepin it real - no kool aid

All good Brotah. You guys seem like decent folk. I troll, i get trolled back but in the end it's all about respect between each other's bases. Unlike others(yeah i'm looking at the pats and the packers) who can stir shit but can't take the throwback.

Yeah we limping into the playoffs but Carson will be back in December and Jockel will be back next week so the important thing is we are getting bodies back

I've always respected the blueprint Seattle has had. You all have some good fans and we all like football. I'm just glad we finally are in the hunt around Thanksgiving and not looking forward to the draft.

Your defense is still going to be tough and you still have Russell. Russell just never really loves to face our front 7. :heh:

I'm hoping we can sneak one out up in Seattle. But we have some real tests coming the next 4-5 weeks. Hell even when we are playing good, we still try that fake punt with Hekker. Tried it again last week on our own 35. Failed

It's good to have the Rams back on the up and up. I'm impressed with your team.

It's refreshing to say the least. The most depressing thing about being so shitty is when you are thinking about the draft around Halloween. And it's weird now because as much as I don't want to get ahead of myself, I look at the rest of the schedule and think.. Win, Loss, Loss, Win, Loss, Loss

Playoffs? Maybe

We need a few more wins.
