Thanks for the so so memories Joe
Correct
So I guess it's not surprising at all... Wonder IF they made it to the WS if they would have given him another year
It was his call apparently.......Everyone felt he wanted to walk away these past few weeks
head wasn't into it huh
This job wears on a guy, and Girardis' son is a pro caliber HS baseball player and he has talked about wanting to spend more time around his career
Wow, any idea who the Yankees are going after to replace?
Wow, any idea who the Yankees are going after to replace?
Theory is that the managers' job has been minimized, the Yankees are more analytics driven than any other organization, and the Yankees are not happy paying their manager 4-6 million, when a guy like Kevin Cash is making $400k...........This is a lot of what ive been hearing and reading, the next guy will absolutely not be a big salary guy
No clue... no clue what path they SHOULD take... the good thing is that there should be a lot of interest since the Yankees are the Yankees AND they are on the short list of teams that could win the world series next season...
Not sure if I want a grizzled veteran or a spunky(rocko's dog) new guy...
this could be the preliminary plan... But watch out when the big names show interest...
if the Big Names are Dusty Baker type guys
No Thanks
Just hoping it is not Dusty Baker...LOL
Bam Bam is the presumed Giants Manager-in-Waiting, but might there be interest in a reunion with the Yanks?Wow, any idea who the Yankees are going after to replace?
id prefer a young energetic type to grow with this core, rather than a retread old manager
