So that's who 10AC is going after next...
I don't think so. Do people remember where Michigan was before he got here? The simple fact that you think losing 2 games is a letdown for Michigan means he's done exactly what we wanted him to do.The most overrated/overpaid coach of all time.

No one is asking you to pay him ... he's our guy and we are good with that.

I'm not necessarily fine with some of those losses, but I'd also argue that the circumstances are completely different. Comparing a small chunk of an overall record is unfair. Jones has yet to win 10 games at Tennessee in a significantly worse division. He is 33-24 overall. It's not even a close comparison. Harbaugh is 24-8.So, you're fine with him having the same record as Butch Jones in the last 11 games? The dude's in year 3 and his team is worse than it was in year one. This dude ain't a top 15 coach.

Michigan has had a rough stretch with some bad breaks, but we had to have a lot of bad breaks in order to tie Jones in the last 11 games.
Michigan is also without it's starting QB and WR for the season and PSU is the toughest team we play all year. We're still fully capable of a respectable season. Again, Penn State got whipped by Michigan last year and still won the B10. It happens sometimes, even to the best teams/coaches.
You're "starting quarterback" was in danger of losing his starting position already with man Michigan fans claiming he wasn't going to be the starter after the spring game. You now have a fifth year senior who your head coach stole from another program who has been with your head coach all three years he's been there. You didn't lose a Heisman candidate at QB, you lost a guy who was barely holding on to his job.I'm not necessarily fine with some of those losses, but I'd also argue that the circumstances are completely different. Not so sure about that.
Texas hired Herman but had to fire Strong.
Strong's Buyout
$10.4 million - $1 million salary offset by USF = $9.4 million
Texas had to buyout Herman from Houston.
$2.5 million
Strong Asst Coaches had to be paid off
$6.3 million
Tom Herman Salary
$5.25 million
9.4 + 2.5 + 6.3 + 5.25 = 23.45 million for Tom Herman First Year.
Depending on how you look at that
3 wins = 7.82 million per win
Or
4 losses = 5.86 million per loss
Herman wins.
1 player out? WOW! How can Georgia get by?UGA's starting QB went down in the first quarter of week 1, and we've been running out a true freshman who's first ever start was @Notre Dame. What's your excuse again?

I was never of that opinion. I always thought Speight just needed time to get the connection right with his receivers. I defended him relentlessly around here. And now we're seeing why. Because an average QB like Speight is the difference between winning and losing games like Michigan State where it comes down to a few points. OKorn's offense is scoring only an average of 17 points a game. Speight's offense was averaging 32. The drop off is significant enough to matter, even if Speight was only average. You're "starting quarterback" was in danger of losing his starting position already with man Michigan fans claiming he wasn't going to be the starter after the spring game.
