They've been by far the most underrated and underappreciated. They have an elite defense, Heisman candidate RB, their best WR corps ever and as usual a great O-line. Their QB does suck but their backup is much better and I'm hoping the coach figures that out soon or we could choke one game away vs an inferior team. So far we've won games despite playing our C game. If we play our A game we win every game by 30 + points.

Vita Vea and Greg Gaines are two of the best interior defensive linemen in the country, what the hell are you talking about? Vea could be a top-15 pick in the 2018 NFL draft. UW has the 2nd best rush defense in college football.

Meanwhile the Badgers have that O-line back to being the best run blocking O-line in the entire country getting about 7-8 yards per run. Also, your defense has been depleted after last years' draft especially in the secondary.

Yes, you can bring up the point that we lost a number of players on the defensive side of the ball to the draft, but that doesn't seem to have hurt the defense.

UW is #2 in total yards allowed per game. #2 in rushing yards allowed per game. #8 in passing yards allowed. #3 in PPG allowed.

For someone who claims to rely on statistics and logic, it doesn't seem as if you applied much of it to this argument.

They were getting pushed around and all those numbers mean nothing when you've faced poor teams all year. Not one of the teams you faced are a legitimate top 50 team. Most of them might not even be a top 100 team. Those stats are irrelevant due to your awful schedule.
