If the NFL goes along with this, it will be the blunder of the century. The average Brit couldn't tell you the difference between 4th down and a reverse play. They will never accept football as a major sport. And for that matter, players won't accept moving there.

I have to believe the Union would what an automatic FA clause for US players not wanting to pack up and move to Europe.
What about a draftee not wishing to live across the pond?

If a team is going to move to London then the Lions are the logical choice. It is only across the a bridge, or tunnel and a few hours by bus.

I already acknowledged my layover flights are notvthe same, but saying flying from LA to NY us the same as NY to London is complete BULLSHIT.
Also as we've discussed the ISSUE is West Coast teams flying to London and vice versa.
Don't try to think your frequent flying gives you any more insight than the rest of us, and yes I'll trust my Google search more than I trust you, because I already knew the flight from NY to London was longer because I had layovers in Montreal and the leg from Montreal to London wasn't nearly the same as LA to Montreal.
I didn't say LA to NY was the same, I said NY to LA. It takes longer going west.

I flew from London to Baltimore yesterday. It' was 7 hours 20 minutes in the air and I wasn't flying coach; it sucks. Adjusting to an 8 hour time difference on the west coast would suck even more.
They have almost a week to do it and they are paid millions of dollars. Cry me a fucking river.

If Chargers go to London then the Texans should go to the AFCW, Miami to the AFCS, and the London Bull Dogs to the AFCE.

You're a typical American who doesn't travel. I get it.
I travel yearly. Time difference between LA and London is 8 hours, tack on the 10+ hour flight you lose a day. Go learn some math.
And if you don't like Americans FUCK YOU.

"Yearly"? Like once a year?

So no, you don't travel.

My point was that for most of that flight you're asleep, which you're going to do anyway. So no, you're not "losing a day", you're spending a night sleeping in a different place. And you gain the time difference back on the return.

There are people working in areas like sales who travel that distance twice a week. I'll fly from London to NY and back for work 2-3 times a month. If I can do it then so can pro athletes making millions per year.

And they get to do it on a private jet. That saves a lot of time and hassle. These guys aren't waiting in security lines or things like that.
