I've already pointed out to you that the 8-7-1 was a result of the defense and special teams. IF you knew the team and not t he stat line, you would understand this.

Come on J_Y19, you know better than that....there are no exceptions for reasons why records end up the way they do. If I missed the memo, I'm willing to start the petition and gather signatures to send to the League offices for a 2016 playoff do-over. We can invoke the exception and prepare for the wildcard game.:D

@BurgundyBlog I've got it. Bengals finish with a top 5 pick take a QB. Dalton on the block. Gruden reunited with dalton.

food for thought

It would be the wrong member of the Bengals to unite with. You want a younger Cousins type or better?.....Go with McCarron. You want a discounted Big Ben type then Dalton is your guy.

Alex Smith and Dalton are two that may be available as FAs next year. Would either be an upgrade? I don't think so.

he has swelling and they think he tore the acl again

Quarterback Sam Bradford was also a new addition to the team’s injury report. Bradford is dealing with a knee injury that also didn’t prevent him from playing every snap against the Saints. - Minnesota Star Tribune.

Bradford was limited again on Thursday, but there’s been no sign from Minnesota that Bradford’s availability for this week’s game against the Steelers is in doubt and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur wasn’t asked about Bradford’s health during a Thursday press conference. - NBC Sports

He's been a limited participant in practice. Haven't read anything about it being serious or anything like that.

Smith still has a year on the contract unless his opts out. Don't see him opting out though.

Don't worry Terry you'll figure it out after Big Ben retires this season.

It doesn't matter who cost y'all the game. You didn't improve. Neither side of the ball improved. It's not just the defense's fault and it's not just KC's fault. You have no o-line, no running game, KC is still making bad decisions. If KC was such a good QB, why is the offense not improving? Also, the QB is supposed to be the leader of the team on and off the field. He needs to be a locker room leader. Is he? I don't know. I doubt it though.
If you knew the team, you wouldn't asking these questions. The offense had close to 1000 yards more in 2016 than in 2015. How is that not an improvement? He alone threw for close to 900 yards more on just a handful more attempts. How is that not improving?

He may if he isn't starting. Mahomes is being groomed and they may go with him.

Brees is the best bet in Free Agency. He's be cheaper than what you would pay Cousins. Garappolo ain't going anywhere, AJ isn't proven enough obviously to take the job away from Dalton. Bridgewater is gonna be a chance but he did lead the Vikings to an 11-5 record in his second season as starter. Could look at Jay Cutler, depending on how he does with Miami. I personally wouldn't go anywhere near Cutler.

Because y'all didn't win more games. Because neither the offense or the defense improved on being able to score or stop the scoring from opposing offenses. The total yardage and the passing yards are called moral victories. You can feel good about those, definitely. But I'd feel better if my team won the division or at least made the playoffs over being able to throw for more yards.

I think Gruden would be interested in Dalton from the Cincy days. Assuming Kc leaves.

If they keep playing the way they are, no way they change anything this season at least. I also wouldn't be surprised if Smith stays for the rest of his contracts and just tests the waters. Or retires. Guys in his 12th year. Not everyone can be Tom Brady at 40 lol

GK is right. You shift just like Dean does. So how is this KC's fault? He improved. You said he didn't. Fact.

The Minnesota Vikings have some concern about quarterback Sam Bradford's left knee, but remain cautiously optimistic about his status for Sunday's game, a source told ESPN on Friday.

Bradford on Tuesday had an MRI on the knee after another source told ESPN that the quarterback had experiencing swelling, some pain and discomfort in the left knee after Monday night's victory over the New Orleans Saints.

According to the source, the MRI did not reveal any specific damage, but said scans do not always offer a clear picture in a knee that has undergone multiple ACL repairs.

It is the same knee that underwent ACL repairs in 2013 and 2014 when Bradford was with the Rams.

Bradford has been listed as a limited participant on the team's practice reports all week, but the source said the thought was that Bradford would be able to play when the Vikings visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Case Keenum is the backup and has gotten an increased workload of repetitionsin practice this week.

The fact that the Vikings did not elevate quarterback Kyle Sloter from the practice squad seems to support the guarded optimism about Sunday's status, but the team has until 4 p.m. ET Saturday to make a roster move.

Bradford opened the season in spectacular fashion, completing 27 of 32 passes for 346 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Vikings' 29-19 season-opening win over the Saints.

"fear" and " may have" are appropriate terms
