Isn't it great that NFL football is back? Can't wait until tomorrow.
Yep. College game finally has some good early season games for a change, too. Makes the wait for the NFL a lot more tolerable.Isn't it great that NFL football is back? Can't wait until tomorrow.
Titans offense looked horrible against them in the 1st half of the 3rd preseason game. But, Mariota had a really bad game and plus it's all BS game planning if any at all anyway. The Bears D is kind of intriguing too if maybe incomplete. Always loved Fangio- curious to see how they look in real games this year.
Eh that's actually pretty overplayed especially recently . Last year was an example but Carolina lost a lot from the year before so they weren't really the same team. Deattle, Denver, NE, Pitt, SF all made the playoffs/SB /even won the SB the year after losing the SB recently . The "Super Bowl hangover " got a shot in the arm after last year but it's been pretty irrelevant recentlyUsually you are right. But there is also something odd about the SB loser taking a step back the next year. It's happen too often to just be coincidental. Will it happen with Atlanta? Who knows. If they are anything like last year, they will smoke the Bears. But it's worth noting.
I think the Bears should be better if they don't have a ridiculous number of injuries like last year. They won't be good enough to be in playoff contention, but I could see them being in most games and stealing a few wins against teams they shouldn't.
True. Although with Atlanta, they did lose their OC so we will see. Matty has been pretty up and down throughout his career as well. Was it 2015 that Falcon fans were calling for his benching?Eh that's actually pretty overplayed especially recently . KC over Pats
Browns over Stoolers
Book it Baby, I know I got this !!!!
Yeah division is brutal. Luckily the crossovers are manageableTrue. Although with Atlanta, they did lose their OC so we will see. Matty has been pretty up and down throughout his career as well. Was it 2015 that Falcon fans were calling for his benching?
NFC South could be tough this year. Carolina has a talented team and Winston looks primed to make a run. Can't even count the Saints out with Brees. That might be the toughest division.

I was thinking about the Broncos but that was 2 years later so my bad. Point is the same. Most teams recently haven't had a real hangover especially teams that remained largely intact .That hasn't happened since the 1972 Dolphins
You're pretty much right. Before last year's Panthers, the Super Bowl loser had gone 7 straight years of getting back to the playoffs. Probably more of a myth that grew from a tough stretch from 2001-2008 that looked like this:I was thinking about the Broncos but that was 2 years later so my bad. Point is the same. I was kind of surprised he didn't get a few more thus preseason . Tough start to the schedule. There's a decent shot if starting 0-2 if Rodgers doesn't come out slinging
It did. You guys got good pressure which helped. The next few games will tell if it's because of the Packs front 7 or Seattles abysmal OLPack defense looks vastly better with a healthy 1-3 cb, Healy Perry and Matthews and d line second year players have taken the next step. Granted it was the Hawks but the defense didn't depend on turnovers like last year vs the Hawks. 1-0.

It was most likely a little of both. I doubt we will hold RB's for 3.0 ypc or for e pressure 40%=of the pass plays or better for the rest of the season. I haven't seen the GB front 7 look that dominant since we last won the Superbowl.
