I am on board with a conduct detrimental suspension for Zeke, said so a few weeks ago in this thread. I didn't actually think the NFL would take it this far - I'm honestly shocked. 2-4 games would have been appropriate IMO, Zeke needs a wake up call. That said, this suspension is a crock of shit, and the NFL has no new evidence to provide, otherwise they would have done so to cover their ass when the news dropped.

Seems like Jerry is ready to go to war on this. Should get very interesting. "Get ya popcorn ready!"

But with health we are still winning the East and Zeke and all the other suspended guys will be there for the stretch run. This is nowhere near as bad as we expected last year when we lost Romo and that turned out OK. Hoping it gets cut to 4 but why play the game of giving him 6 just to cut it to 4? We have guys that although they will be a huge dropoff of course, I think they can do enough to get us through the first 6 weeks. We are going to need Dak to play just as well as he did when Dez was out and then playing hurt last year. The biggest question is still the pass rush and the DBs. I think the offense is still good enough to weather this storm.

Now we know why the NFL have been leaking stories about a possible suspension for Elliot. If they hadn't prepared the ground everyone would be saying it was an over-reaction and totally unfair. The NFL is trying to make Cowboys fans look unreasonable.

I am extremely pissed off about this. With the defense going thru growing pains this going to be a tough stretch. With zeke , homerun hitter, it made defenses play more eight man fronts which opened up the passing game. Dak is going to have to pass more IMO. I hope the drop off from zeke won't be as much as I expect. I am hoping for at least 3-3 in the six games. Not being at full strength against the giants really sucks

I'm not even really pissed. I expect bad things to happen every season after we win the East. It has never failed since 07. Team just feels cursed. With that said, I still see 4-2 or 5-1 without Zeke.

TMZ obtained eight photos of bruising on the body of suspended RB Ezekiel Elliott's domestic abuse accuser.

This certainly won't help Elliott's chances of winning an appeal. Ex-girlfriend Tiffany Thompson took photos of bruising on her arms, hands, neck, and legs following the alleged domestic incident. At the time, Elliott told police officers the woman was injured during a bar fight with someone else.

The NFL informed Ezekiel Elliott that "any additional violations" of the personal conduct policy "may result in your suspension or potential banishment."

It's a strong statement from the league after it discovered "substantial and persuasive evidence supporting a finding that Elliott engaged in physical violence against Ms. Thompson on multiple occasions" in July 2016. Elliott has continued to put himself in the wrong places at the wrong times since then and is walking a dangerous path if he doesn't get his act together. Any subsequent violation will likely event in a yearlong or indefinite suspension.

Roger Goodell has been a disaster as NFL Commissioner.
