Our DB's are pretty experienced, but we may have a fresh CB, not sure. If we do have a fresh CB it's because a 5 star former CB(Tony Brown) is going to be playing some other safety/extra DB position. Secondary is very talented.

But we are replacing a good bit in our front 7. And that's the bigger concern. If you give a QB time to throw, it doesn't matter how good your secondary is. There will be holes and such, and any QB with time will hit them. But we obviously have more 4 and 5 stars plugging in, so we'll see.

That said, these guys aren't likely as good as what just left. In 2015 we had a ton of depth in the front 7. It was more like the front 11 they rotated so much. But last year, we didn't have the same kind of depth, and so these guys didn't rotate in as much. So that would suggest it's unlikely our front 7 will be as good as previous 2 years.

Thanks for the breakdown. Our D will be better and our Oline should be better. Can't be much worse. We need our young RBs and WRs to step up

The topic was how to beat Alabama. 1 team actually beat Alabama straight up and that was Clemson last year. The other game was a loss, it wasn't mentioned because it didn't matter to the topic.

Can I say Michigan State didn't get beat in 2014 because the Notre Dame game doesn't count because you don't game plan to have the officials call weak pass interference calls? Alabama lost twice. It's hot, but I like it a helluva lot more than Illinois already. Right on the border of Cali and Mexico. Seen a few border cops patrolling around but haven't come across any checkpoints yet

Wait until fall after monsoon season is over, then the weather starts getting awesome.

I don't think it's that bad. Like today it's a humid day like the southeast, but the temperature is only 95. I'd rather 110-115 with 10% humidity really.

I never see checkpoints around here, but thought maybe they would be more common closer to the border. I wouldn't want to have to deal with that crap on a regular basis.

I don't think the blueprint to beat BAMA is to hope for 4-5 turnovers. It's amazing really that they don't have a few games like that here or there. Credit to Saban on that. FSU is king of the dumb penalties and we have a tendency to have a few bad turnovers here and there.


FSU will have to play smart and limit turnovers to beat BAMA. BAMA just doesn't shoot themselves in the foot much at all
