I hope Calhoun is viewed as a trade chip for this offseason by the organization. Yes... the guy can hit, but we already have someone in our lineup who presumably won't be replaced that reminds me of him. Odor. Odor never takes walks. We're going to have a lineup full of guys that strikeout a lot ( I know Calhoun doesn't they say), swing for the fences, and never take walks. Doesn't sound very appealing to me.

Calhoun is 5'8 and over 200 lbs. The guy doesn't even look like a professional athlete. Scouts are skeptical of his ability to play in the field anywhere at the major league level. Of course the dodgers were gonna throw him away to us, as you all know there is no DH in the NL. I hope JD can flip him for something this winter.

You appear to have missed my point. You want the Rangers to use him as a trade piece, then go on to talk about how much he sucks.

If he sucks so much, why would he have any appeal as a trade piece?
