I'm looking directly at you, @calsnowskier.

This team has sucked so bad this year, that they're still not mathematically eliminated from stealing the distinction of being the worst team in baseball in 2017 from my beloved Phillies (the Phillies; coincidentally, played a Special Olympics team of Down Syndrome players on their off day last Monday. They won in extra innings, with a Maikel Franco walk off single off Corky from Life Goes On).

But enough of laughing at the Phillies. I found this quote pretty hilarious from Ken Rosenthal on the team's dwindling chemistry:

"Some with the Giants muse that the team even misses Angel Pagan, who created an odd sort of unity because most of the players disliked him."

This team is so fucking bad that they all miss a guy they hated, just because they miss picking on them.

LOL

A team that can't pitch and sure as hell can't hit won't get you too far.

Nope.

The Dbacks have lost only two games in the last two weeks & can't even sniff place even with them only being 2.5 games back two weeks ago. First the Rockies go on a long streak, then the Dodgers do...

I can't wait till we get some head-to-head going so that we can some clarity, one way or the other.

Just kind of depressing as a Braves fan. We've made up a lot of ground on the Nats and still sit 9 games back and are even further out of the wild card race. April is important, boys.

I'd give you an "I Love you, Man" rating, but I just can't feel sympathy for a fanbase who saw their team win 3 World Series titles in this decade and then the team finally comes back to earth.

All dynasties must come to an end.

Technically, neither was calling that black cop a "cocksucking nig/ger" as he was arresting me for "public indecency" (is it really indecenct when everyone enjoys the view?), but I did it anyway...

(Luckily, you can't get maced when you're mean on the internet)

Well, if he really is a cocksucker, it's probably not that mean. But what you said about the Giants? Your hateful words and evil intonation? Probably an 11 on the unforgivable scale, you filthy whore. :yo:

Yeah, I'm not too upset about it either. Once was amazing, twice was unreal, three times was just icing on the cake. I can live with it. Plus, the Warriors are taking over duties for every other year wins. Next up is the Sharks!

An 11??? Holy shit. I had no clue it was that bad. I apologize.

I always thought an 11 on the unforgivable scale was reserved for raping your best friend's sister and then leaving her dead body in a ditch, or using two frosting packets on one toaster strudel so the next person has to eventually eat a toaster strudel without any frosting.

If the Hawks left town, I wouldn't even notice. The Thrashers did leave town... And I didn't even notice.

I just want ONE championship from either the Braves or UGA football.

Since 2010, the BA is 5-3 in championship games/series'. That is fucking insane.

The Falcons are my number 2 NFL team. I'm a Broncos fan, though the NFL is 4th in my pecking order.

I saw the Broncos win the Super Bowl a couple years back and my favorite NASCAR driver won a championship a few years ago, but I was 4 when the Braves won the series, and my parents were 8 years old when UGA last won a natty.

I still think Cox needs more criticism. 13 consecutive division titles is impressive, no doubt. But only one trophy in that stretch? Come on...
