Looks like the Rangers have the edge in this series with a team ERA of 3.85 vs PHL 4.69. Eflin, 2.81, is a good young pitcher with 4 straight QSs, but the Phils' lame bullpen blew his last 3.
Thanks for dropping by. We too know about lame bullpens.Looks like the Rangers have the edge in this series with a team ERA of 3.85 vs PHL 4.69. Eflin, 2.81, is a good young pitcher with 4 straight QSs, but the Phils' lame bullpen blew his last 3.

It's a safe bet the PHI ERA will go down after this series.
During this current win streak we're avg about 6 runs a game. Com'on now.....where's the love?
May be Lucroy can drive in some runs. Has been hitting better of late
Our 18th ranked prospect, 20 year-old Jonathan Hernandez, seems to have it together both in his attitude and his pitching smarts. This is a very good article about him.
Hickory's Hernandez continues hot stretch
Bannister seems to have some kind of Hoying hard on. The dude is already in the line up over Rua.
So much for Hoying being an extra outfielder. Another player In the lineup that can't hit.

I don't think he gets that long due to the need to put Joey somewhere after Adrian gets healthy. If he can hit around .300 in the next 4 to 6 weeks, it proves he can hit if he's given consistent at bats.
I figured that would happen base on him being overused last year at times. So much for Hoying being an extra outfielder. Another player In the lineup that can't hit.
I don't think it is about looking for a savior as much as it is keeping the best 9 guys in the lineup and Hoying probably isn't close to being one of those. Now that I have said that, Hoying will hit 2 HRs tonight.Rua is not our savior.
That would be nice, but he hasn't shown he can hit major league pitching.I don't think it is about looking for a savior as much as it is keeping the best 9 guys in the lineup and Hoying probably isn't close to being one of those. Now that I have said that, Hoying will hit 2 HRs tonight.
Oh well, we aren't going anywhere anyways so we might as well find out about Banny's lineup making as well.
