They could be number one in defense for all I care but if their record is 40 and 42 they are still a mediocre team. That cannot be argued. Its the winning and losing record that counts not the defensive stats. Or, wait a minute, did Cleveland win the championship last year by being the top rated defensive team or did they win by winning more games in the series than GS did. I can't remember.

As a Warriors fan and thus a Laker hater, I remember every agonizing minute of watching that game. But we already agree that injuries are a part of the game, I don't dispute that. What we don't seem to agree on is that the Warriors would out-score the Spurs by 25 points in 17 minutes with a healthy Leonard on board.

I don't know for sure if the Warriors would have won the game, if Leonard wouldn't have gotten hurt.

Yes, they most certainly did. Even his team mates said the same thing. But in that situation Delly was taking guys legs out from under them...hard to see those as "scrappy" plays.

You're an idiot. Seriously. Never once did I compare the two games, I said they're capable of winning against SA because they've done it before- practically the same exact scenario with the exception of Kawhi BEING HEALTHY in the game played in March.

And again, never ONCE did I say the Cavs won because of their defense. SMH

Curry jumped toward LA by about 3 feet from takeoff to landing. That looks a lot different from ZaZa & Leonard -- where Leonard's left foot came down behind where he took off. (a fall away)

I just don't understand why everyone is acting like his injury is Pachulia's fault. Isn't it possible that since he was already injured-one tweak happen just minutes before this play by him stepping on one of his own team mates' feet-that his ankle was already very sensitive? How come Pop isn't mad at himself for not sitting Kawhi after that incident?
It is unfortunate that he's injured and it's too bad though that Pachulia's getting all the blame.

He is universally despised as the least liked player in the NBA and rookies are warned about his low rent dirty plays.

In that context, it does make the play look a lot less accidental.
