Mizzou might actually be a middle of the pack SEC team in football and basketball next year. I know, I'm a homer but we'll see.

And Columbia could use less traffic as far as I'm concerned. The lower enrollment might actually give the city time to plan out it's infrastructure better

Lol at these being your aspirations.

Pretty sure it was 1996. I know USC played Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl in 1995 and almost 100% sure they were still from the SWC.

You're right. It was created in 94, and they started play in 96

But if people say MU sucks at everything, and they play in the best conference in the nation, shouldn't those be unattainable goals?

They might have a better record if they hired Big Game Bob Stoops

OU fans around here spend more time hating on Missouri irrationally than most KU fans I know. That takes effort and dedication.

I don't care about Missouri and their suckitude enough to voice an opinion.

But can we all agree that dill pickle potato salad is an abomination and must be eradicated.

Well they did best their division 2 of the 5 years they've been in.

Don't remind me.

Sat there and watched UGA beat them in Columbia 34-0 in 2014, but like always, a weaker Florida team and a Steve Spurrier coached weaker South Carolina team kept us from being Bama's sacrificial lamb that season.

Irrationally isn't the right word.
Hilariously is the right word.

It's great that a fan base is passionate about their team, whoever they are.
Missouri fans are just stupid wrong about theirs, all the time, non stop.
They are the Show Me State and I show them why they suck all the time and they still won't accept reality.
The Missouri fan base is the most angry fan base in all of College Football.
On these message boards.
And in person.

I forget they're in the SEC until someone starts a thread pointing it out.
Not Surprising the SEC has always ducked other Conference Members in Season...

I am pretty sure it was not until 1992 all SEC schools played the same amount of Conference Games

See before 1992, one SEC team would play 5 Conference Games, another 6, another 7, and another 8...

Here is a snap shot of a Typical SEC Standings after a season.

1. 5-0
2. 4-1
3. 5-2
4. 4-2
5. 3-3
6. 3-3
7. 3-4
8. 3-4
9. 1-5
10. 0-7

Notice there are 10 Teams, and one Team played 5 Conference Games.... And they Magically Won the Conference....
