This isn't about sports it's about the complete cluster fuck of an institution Missouri has become.

Yeah, like the SEC gives a fuck about anything but sports

But yeah, the BLM and the millionaire hunger striker completely fucked them

Mizzou was the worst athletic program in Big12 history tho. Literally EVERY school in the conference won more titles than Mizzou across all sports. How is that even possible given for the vast majority of those years, KSU, Tech, Baylor and ISU sucked ass in damn near everything???

You do know that the Big 12 started in 1994, right? So MU was there for less than 20 years. Not a big sample size

Not only is your sports teams trash but the university itself is in shambles of a racial war. Not to mention the icing on the cake of irony, isn't Missouri considered North and not part of the 'racist confederate states'.

Newsflash, every state is considered racist

The deep south is just more overtly racist

I also think that is a crock. More social interactions crossing racial lines down south, meanwhile the most segregated school system in the country is in New York. Easy to point the blame on racial tension when you are ignoring it up north, just saying.

I don't doubt it......NYC also had more slaves than any other city and state

In general most people don't actually KNOW the history of this nation. Things distasteful like that simply weren't taught. It's why there is no understanding between our peoples.

The average person thinks racism is a moral failing or character issue. Black people know it's a life/death issue. Racism is a threat, it's DANGEROUS.......people die.

I wasn't crazy about the SEC expanding to 14 teams a few years ago, but A&M came in with a bang, and Missouri was pretty good in years two & three, so, in retrospect, I was glad to have them onboard. But then Mizzou started unraveling - both administratively & athletically - so it's kind of an embarrassment to have them in the conference now.

Pretty sure it was 1996. I know USC played Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl in 1995 and almost 100% sure they were still from the SWC.

No, Missouri was on the side of the South and had numerous battles with Kansas who was on the Unions side. Though one could say the Union and Confederacy were Secondary to the Hatred between Kansas and Missouri.

Although, none of that really matters because the civil war wasn't about racism or slavery anyways.

Mizzou might actually be a middle of the pack SEC team in football and basketball next year. I know, I'm a homer but we'll see.

And Columbia could use less traffic as far as I'm concerned. The lower enrollment might actually give the city time to plan out it's infrastructure better
The infrastructure is fucked. Tearing down downtown to put in expensive student housing that no one wants. I think I saw the originally people who owned them is now trying to sell because it completely backfired.

But, yeah, football should probably be 6-6, 7-5 and basketball should make the Tournament with Porter Jr.
