I don't think you could go wrong with the first three. I think I picked Master of Puppets because that is the one I go back to the most. But Ride The Lightning is equally as good!

My hard drive crashed the other day and I had to reload my cd's. Ride the Lightning was one of the first I put in.

The first 2 Iron Maiden albums with DiAnno are underrated IMO. Love those two albums

I totally agree with Iron Maiden. I got my son into them a few years ago. He is the only 12 year old I've seen that can tell an Iron Maiden song at the beginning from the sound of the guitars.
