That might be all we need. If healthy this team will be loaded in all facets.

Very impressive. Didn't think they'd be
where there are now with all the injuries.
Perez is pretty smooth.

Holy shit I completely forgot there was a day game (hectic at work) and when I saw we won and in the way Perez dominated it just made a wheels off day thus far so damn great!

26 scoreless I do believe

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Martin Perez pitched his second consecutive shutout to extend his scoreless innings streak to 26 and the Texas Rangers wrapped up a three-game sweep of the Oakland Athletics with a 3-0 victory Wednesday.

That contract extension for Perez is looking unbelievable.

2014: 1 million signing bonus and a $750,000 salary
2015: $1 million
2016: $2.9 million
2017: $4.4 million
Club option on 2018: $6 million or $2.45 million buyout
Club option on 2019: $7.5 million or $750,000 buyout
Club option on 2020: $9 million or $250,000 buyout

I think he's already earned that million for this year.

He'll be due a raise if he keeps pitching like this buts that's awesome we have him locked up for the next 6 years.

Hardly see how he could have gotten any better utility players. They have bailed us out of a sad position.

the depth on this team has surely been a pleasant surprise. Kouz especially. When Prince, Beltre, and Rios get going again, this offense could be scary good
