I hate how they televise the replay too. Seems like they are doing it a little better this game but they need to get it down to the same science the NFL has done. They can get it down to the most meaningful frame and freeze it relatively quickly. Still haven't even seen them attempt that in MLB replay yet.

I'd say them overturning 50+ of 120+ calls makes me think it can work, but they are certainly screwing the pooch on some of these indisputable evidence calls like the one tonight AND the ball transition play

I think some of these replay officials are looking at that play and making a determination on whether he was out or safe,

not with the pretense that he was called safe on the field and is there enough evidence in the replay to overturn it, which there wasn't

Cant remember if they replayed that call at 2nd last night in the O's/Rsox game or not but yeah they've missed some of the ball transition calls that have been in error as well with the video. Hope they will tweak it and get it right
