Amazing how many Alabama fans always leave off Bart Starr. I mean Brodie Croyle, JPW, Shula and Freddie Kitchens over Starr?!!!! Crazy talk.

Oh and AJ is not above Stabler, Namath or Star no way no how. More rings does not make you better by default.

Why thanks Auburn fan, for being so concerned about my top Alabama QB's. Want to know what I think about the best Auburn QBs? I don't.

I listed those I saw/heard play with the exception of Namath and Stabler. I wasn't trying to make the list that credible journalists would copy until the end of time.

Excuse me for having the honor of meeting Bart Starr several times and thinking he is a fantastic individual and should be included on any list of great players in college football period. When they made Bart Starr they threw away the mold, he is a credit to his school and the sport as a whole and you should damn well know who he is if you are going to follow Alabama football.

I actually figured I would get the reaction from #10.

You know, the knock on Christina Simms was his record against OU and being the main reason why Texas did not play Miami in '01 for the BCS title. Other than that, he won a shit ton of games....

Gardere wasn't that great really, but is the only UT QB to go 4-0 against the Land Thieves. That receives a top ten ranking in my book.

Oh, so anyone I didn't list I don't know who they are? There are plenty of other people I could have named from the 60's and 70's over the QB's listed, but the topic said "according to you", not according to the history books or some list people can copy off some website.

Thanks for being more worried about Alabama than your own school as usual. Go ahead, list the 10 worst QB's for Auburn as your best - bet I don't give a shit.

Starr's mark as a QB was made at Green Bay and not Alabama. He was a DB his final year at Bama.
