I'm sorry, but Alabama's only argument is the fact that they're Alabama and have the reputation, but they have beaten nobody, and lost to the only good team they've played, and it wasn't nearly as close as the score.

Anyone who has Baylor anywhere near the top 4-6 right now hasn't watched a second of Baylor football this year. This is a mediocre team that has been lucky as hell to win the last two weeks against two bad teams.

Not sure why folks are throwing Georgia in there. I live on Georgia and watch Georgia games. They have a good defense but, the offense is lackluster, has only one good receiver and one good running back. At best Fromm has not progressed from last year and maybe even slipped a bit and the play calling is not so hot either.

Is it just a default SEC knee jerk reaction based on last year?

I agree with you on the SEC defaults.....

However, it doesn't really matter.

I could see Georgia getting taken out @ Auburn next Saturday. If they do manage a win there we're still back to scenario of.....

Georgia beats LSU in the CCG they're in.
Georgia loses to LSU in the CCG they're out.
