you know a lot of Irish folks who are offended by the use of leprechauns? Most I know embrace their heritage and the folklore surrounding being Irish.

I don't think a cartoon drawing of a smiling Native American is the same thing.

Africans were slaves to another Africans in their homeland.
So being a slave was part of their heritage ... they should embrace that.

you are trying to make it black and white when it isn't.

Should all Germans embrace the Nazis? No.

No culture embraces the negative aspects of their heritage....except Mongolians. They are strangely proud of their r*pe and pillage history...

when you go and get a caricature drawn of you, the artist usually embellishes features in order to mock the person being drawn. That is essentially what Chief Wahoo is.

That caricature has been part of the Indian logo since 1947 and 9 out of 10 Native Americans have no problem with it.

Like i have said, I really like the Chief Wahoo logo and it will always be part of the Indians history. I hope they give him a good sending off at the end of the 2018 season, but it is time for it to be retired.
