No, please let them give a declining Arrieta a big contract.

Strasburg and Scherzer will both be making over 30 million a piece. I'd love for them to fuck around and not be able to afford to sign Harper.

Nats have never won a playoff series. This ain't gonna be the year. They collectively have a touch of the Andy Dalton gene.

I agree, I wouldnt touch him on a LT deal, but its hard to argue that for a year or 2, its gonna make that rotation pretty incredible

Id like to see your Braves land Moustakas and become a dark horse WC contender this season

I still like Donaldson to the Braves at some point.

3 out of the last 6 seasons, Game 5 of the NLDS, at home. Lost by a combined 4 runs.

I liked that a lot heading into the offseason when I thought the Jays would wave the white flag on 2018, but now Im not so sure they are heading that way

I'd like to sign Moustakas, but from everything I've heard, if we sign anyone, it'll be a depth piece like Eduardo Nunez who'll split time at third with Johan Camargo.

That seems to be the plan until Austin Riley is MLB ready.

I'm picking them as a wild card team, but I can see them pulling a 2016 Yankees and selling even when they have a shot at the playoffs.

He's the first guy to go I would think.....I could absolutely see him being next season's FA that has trouble getting what he wants....30 something that will definitely be looking for a monster deal teams will be reluctant to hand out

Nunez becoming a hot commodity now, seems a lot of teams are in on him

Or the consolation prize for a team that cleared enough space to go after Machado but failed. I can see it going both ways.

Then we'll probably just roll with Camargo, which is fine with me. But with all the money coming off the books after this season, I'm gonna be pissed if we're not players next offseason. You don't know how much it sucks going from your team being owned by Ted Turner to being owned by a media conglomerate in Colorado that sees your team as a spreadsheet.

Good grief. My lasting memory of that guy will always be the broken bat flare he gave up to Ortiz to lose game 5 2004.

He was actually surprisingly very good in that game

Ill always believe the Tony Clarke double into the corner that bounced into the stands, lost that series, I forget who was running, but it was easily scoring the go ahead run in Game 4? or 5?

Same game-game 5. Ruben Sierra was the runner. Horrible memories.

Game 4 loss - "Eh, sucks, but we are ok"

Game 5 loss - "Uh Oh"

Game 6 loss - "Its over, we have zero shot tomorrow"

ohhhhhh yeah I remember that. 9th inning too. Absolutely would have given the Yankees the lead. I thought Game 5 was the best out of all of them.
