the reason it was mentioned is....They are the Redskins...the team that takes the OLD basically washed up big name player, pays him a boat load of money and gets NOTHING in return.....

Every seems to believe they are the same ole Redskins, and not what they are now....a team with a solid GM who has an actual plan...and implemented that plan from day 1...and will be sticking with his plan....Unfortunatly the Skins have brought this on themselves, and it will probably take a couple years before these writers get it that things are different now

i agree , they think snyder isnt backing off and so far i think he has let SM do his job

It is also because a lot of these guys are lazy writers who don't dedicate time to finding actual facts & perhaps being a little more creative. It is much easier to rehash the same basic stories or focus on irrelevant things like the team name.
