Depends how it's worded. If they think he underthrows then telling him to overthrow more than usual isn't a big idea to balance it out. But telling him to deliberately throw it over guys seems like a bad practice

All fun & games aside, this could just be a coaching measure to bring fundamentals back into perspective. I’m guessing the camp competition between Taylor & Mayfield is pushing these guys to try & do too much. Holding onto the ball or trying to extend plays in bad timing situations. Competition is great but you can’t lose sight of those fundamentals that can be the difference between winning & losing.

Or I could be smoking crack.
