Heinicke and Allen are nothing but backups sorry to say and the signing will only make sense is if they draft one in the 1st round because a developmental QB in the later rounds would be completely stupid

I like the move and have been asking for this for awhile. Of course it is a bridge move. What did you want them to do. They weren't going to pay the asking price for Stafford. If they weren't going to pay that price for Stafford they certainly weren't going to pay for Watson.

$10 million for a journeyman QB is chump change these days.
