I tip only 5 percent if I think the service was good. This one phag waiter never brought me ketchup one time. He never got a tip. I get pisst off if I don't have ketchup for my fries

on take out, I'll tip 10% if it's some place i like, for example my chinese place. That's for the cooks and stuff who get a portion of the waitresses tips.

If it's pizza or something cheaper, I'll ususally just go $1 or something like that. it's lower quality and you won't know until you get home if it was good or not.

in a restaurant, it's pretty much always 20%. I'm not a cheapskate. I do agree that US should do away with tipping. it can easily be added to the price.

hotels - I only tip when i go for work and I'm usually there a week and it's in one of those suite hotels. so they usually clean up my dishes and stuff from when i just eat takeout in the room.

speaking of tips, what about at the airport and the guys that drive you from your parking to the airport and back? If I'm traveling with my wife and we have multiple large bags then I might throw the guy a couple of bucks. when traveling for work, I do all the work myself and give him nothing.

that actually seems like a good gig to me. It seems like a lot of older retired guys doing it, I think I might try to get in on that when i retire.

I tip too much.

Especially if I'm having mixed drinks. As if it is really hard to pour some whiskey and coke into a cup or something

But yea I just feel like I have to or it's going to be real awkward all night while they're serving me.

Not to criticize your life choices, but I couldn't care less about you being in Paris homo's.

I'm sure you'll be experiencing an Eiffel Tower in the near future, huh?
