As well as this team has drafted at most positions, the O line has been a cluster fuck the entire time they have been here and that was before they shipped off their pro bowl caliber center.
Definitely not true. It certainly was not a big issue 2010-2012, especially in '12 when RW & Lynch combo busted on the scene and made that late season charge to the playoffs and a FG away from the NFCC. It's been an eyesore the last couple years, and that's mainly due to injuries, particularly to the guys that are no longer here.
But I certainly agree there's work to do. You can't be great every year at every position group in a salary cap league, but OL is one of those places that should be prioritized over many others. That's why I've been mostly anti-WR early in this draft. Lockett looks like a gamer who should contribute right away as a returner, but to me he's that shiny object that distracts us away from using that chance to build up that front line that protects our franchise QB and paves the way for our bell cow RB. Hopefully help is on the way later today.
