As Canfora points out, this might be part of the Seahawks exit plan for Bruce Irvin. This year, or when he becomes a FA next year. This pick makes a lot of sense considering their similarities.

Yeah that's kind of a lot for him. But hey they still have 6 picks can't sign all 11. Lockette I think will be a full-time ST player with some part WR duties. Who knows maybe he surprises everyone during camp? Overall a good pick.
