Why? Atlanta looks at Dobsons last wek 7 catches and keep on him (improves anyways w/6 good catches)
Edelman hurts them because they decide he can't
Thompkins improves with the improved running game he gets more seperation
Boyce gotta catch something, sometime or he's cut.

I don't know what the numbers will be and do not want to speculate, ATL has the #24 ranked pass defense it would be a good team to test the rooks against. If the Pats can establish the run early force a safety up it could mean a break out game for one of the rookies. I really want to see Dobson develop into a Red Zone threat, that way when Gronk does come back we have two or three big targets.

And you are right on Boyce speed is nice but not of you can't use it to your advantage.

Boyce is a rookie who was never expected to be a significant contributor this year.

BS on Boyce being cut this year. He has been open. Brady just has looked for him. He was WIDE open for a easy TD last week. Brady never saw him. Rookies take time. They will improve. The longer Brady is forced to only throw to them....the better this team will be at the end. No need to rushy Gronk or DA back.

Sudfeld will hopefully contribute with catches.

Boyce will have through the end of next year/training camp the following year to prove himself, unless he does something REALLY bad (like missing meetings, etc). Many rookies start slow, and expecting all 3 rookie WR to be immediate contributors was just too much to ask.

Dunno what the deal with Sudfeld is. He was unstoppable all preseason and completely stoppable in the regular season - hasn't done ANYTHING.

Thompkins still needs to work on those hands, but I'll be damned if he doesn't have some serious talent. He's just a good football player.

Edelman is leading the league in receptions
Thompkins is improving. He had one bad drop where he took his eyes off the ball.
Sudfeld couldn't catch an onside kick from 10 yards....WTF?
