Bout 30 years ago when I was a youngster my wife's 85 year old grandfather decided to head to his favorite spot in Hooksett at O'early thirty to do a little hunting at the break of dawn.

He hikes out into the woods behind the UNH satelite campus, sits down to take a break and proceeds to fall asleep leaning against a tree. Half and hour, maybe 45 minutes later he wakes up and sees an enormous buck standing 50 feet from him. He manages to get his rifle into the ready position without startling the beast and BOOM!, he drops it.

Crusty old bastid had to hustle his home to round up some help so he could drag it out of the woods before someone else found it and made off with his bounty. 12 points, I don't remember the exact weight, but well over 200 lbs dressed and a state record at the time if I remember correctly.

Talk about offense by accident
