Help me out here ... runners 1st and 2nd, nobody out.
Hannahan at the plate, Mesoraco on deck.
Hannahan doesn't bunt, which -- lucky for us -- Mesoraco, slow as he is the catcher, didn't ground into a DP, but does hit a sac fly which doesn't score a run because Dusty fails to bunt the men over to 2nd and 3rd.

So Frazier gets a hit, and Paul only makes it to 2nd with Choo coming up.

What the F***.

Hey the Reds hit the ball really hard in this game.If Denard Span didn't make 2 brilliant plays in CF we would have took the lead.Things are not going are way simple as that, and I also think this team is very tired and worn down.Being that they are on a stretch on playing 20 in a row. After todays game I feel as if they did show signs of coming out of the slump, Especially Votto and BP.

Getting the shit kicked out if you in the opening series of a 20 game roadie is how teams dig a hole big enough to bury themselves in, in April. All these games count. Is it a coincidence that Dusty's teams always go on a hit diet in the first year of a 2 year deal for Dusty ? There is a fine line between laid back and just lazy... not talking hustle on the field, but sense of work ethic and urgency before and after games. I think it's called preparation. It's a result of perspiration.
