Petition circling to turn Toronto's CN Tower into goal light for Leafs
As you know by now, the Toronto Maple Leafs are back in the playoffs for the first time in nine years. Seeing how it has become a rare instance, some fans want to go all out and cherish this appearance.
That's why this brilliant idea has spawned to turn the CN Tower into the world's biggest goal light. The idea is more or less borrowed from Budweiser Canada's Red Light promotion that puts a red light in your home that goes off every time your favorite team scores.
The idea is to put this same principle into effect with the CN Tower, the iconic needle marking the Toronto skyline. In fact, there is a petition circulating to try to convince the people in charge of such things to get in on the fun. The petition is seeking 50,000 signatures and right now it's just a bit off that number at 4,710.
