This year's list really should have just had Clarkson in all 5 spots, with each spot diving into one of the specific aspects of the contract that suck:

4. Term
3. NTC/NMC
2. Front loaded money

I'm hoping the Devils buy Clowe out this summer. I liked him for the 30 seconds he played this year but the guy is just dead money. He absolutely cannot stay healthy.

His possession numbers were dogshit as well I believe

20 goals are 20 goals, regardless of how you slice it. doesn't make him a good signing, but it keeps him from being among the worst IMO.

Kind of surprised that they didn't include Horton.

I guess he gets a pass because of the injuries, but the bottom line is the Jackets paid him 5.3m for 18 points.


I don't think it was a bad signing, quite the opposite. But they usually pick on guys like him with tough circumstances with these lists.
