Columbus police said the old-school way of stealing cars has become a trend across the country.

Add this to the list of reasons to not buy a Kia or Hyundai - They can be stolen with a USB cable. And they have no alarm on the back window.

But it's okay, they are going to use immobilizer technology on all 2022 and later new cars. Technology that was in my VW Passat in 1999.
