Some surprising omissions from the Team Canada roster...that said, Gavin McKenna is there.
No Iginla either.
no Josh Ravensbergen sub 900 save % and above 3 gaa this season in PG prob hurt him ... but 6'5 and projected to be a first rounderYeah, I guess we'll wait and see what happens, but if they fail miserably, you can certainly look to some pretty bad omissions.
Hockey Canada probably suspects those not selected are potential to sexual assault someone and are tired from covering it up all the timeScouts chiming in

so heres another example, last night my son had a game against a team with a bunch of shitty kids who had no problem throwing out the N word (at 3 teammates - an Indo Canadian and Chinese teammate of my son ).the thing is Hockey Canada HAS ALL THE RULES ... but when the rules are broken the "punishments" are lax internally ... starts with the punishment on the "small stuff" ... the day to day bending of rules that can lead to what happened on that U13AA team mentioned above.
like in that case above .... the kids arent even supposed to have cell phones in the dressing rooms ... Thats a Hockey Canada rule ... however, i know 100% associations bend on this and make their own rules like cell phones can be physically in rooms but cant be used (need to be in bags or whatever)
where hockey Canada says "this rule is zero tolerance" too many times associations bend and say ahh we dont need to do that. ... "its inconvenient" or "it will never happen here" ... why do they even have risk management people at minor hockey associations when no one listens to them
No Iginla either.
Reminds me of Mike Peca on Selanne. My goodness, what a collision...
I think McKenna is a lock, but part of me wonders how bad the Tigers will do in his absence?!?
