Ho hum, I just woke up and decided to do a triathlon at home...

Finnish Formula One driver Valtteri Bottas, racing for team Sauber, is believed to be in his last season at the highest level of car racing. That also means that he is looking for new hobbies and partly for that reason, he completed a Long Distance triathlon last week, at home.

Replaced my last leased Grand Cherokee with another this year and the number of issues on pick up compared to when I got the last one (2020 model year) shocked me.

And Jeep was pretty much the last thing they had that was desirable.

Well buddy, at least you were smart enough to lease rather than an outright purchase. Just toss those keys back to the dealership and run, don't walk away lol

Company vehicle so will always be a lease. Don’t think I’d ever buy a modern vehicle though, too much shit with malfunction potential with everything electronic.

I did lease a Genesis for the wife and kids earlier this year. Fantastic vehicle and service although might have underestimated just how much space we need (mostly for our giant ass dog).

Remember when pickups used to be about working? Now they are essentially minivans with an open trunk.

They are finally available for sale. MSRP between 60 and 70k.

Guess I'll wait to they build some hybrids or the trend ends and prices come down. Atlas is almost half the price.

U13. sigh

horrible failure of the Hockey Canada rostered team officials (coaches managers and HCSP's) they should never be allowed to coach/manage again

2 deep (2 adults in the room at all times) rule is the standard and everybody involved in minor hockey knows this

the thing is Hockey Canada HAS ALL THE RULES ... but when the rules are broken the "punishments" are lax internally ... starts with the punishment on the "small stuff" ... the day to day bending of rules that can lead to what happened on that U13AA team mentioned above.

like in that case above .... the kids arent even supposed to have cell phones in the dressing rooms ... Thats a Hockey Canada rule ... however, i know 100% associations bend on this and make their own rules like cell phones can be physically in rooms but cant be used (need to be in bags or whatever)

where hockey Canada says "this rule is zero tolerance" too many times associations bend and say ahh we dont need to do that. ... "its inconvenient" or "it will never happen here" ... why do they even have risk management people at minor hockey associations when no one listens to them :noidea:
