Well, I suspect that there are other, more substantial reasons for his consideration, but I don't know. Does owning a football team somehow disqualify a person from being an ambassador?owning a football team makes you able to be an Ambassador to a country?

Well, I already knew that he was an owner and had money. Are you saying that he doesn't have any of skills that you mentioned or do you simply not know and are assuming that he may be nominated simply because he's a wealthy NFL owner?I would think one should have more qualifications to become an Ambassador besides being a team owner and having money. How about some sort of policy skills, diplomatic ties, things of that nature

Ambassadors can be appointed in one of two ways. Political appointment by the President. Usually given to a person who contributedI dont think he has any of those qualifications other than being rich
