Am I the only one who thinks that Woodhead fumbled the ball. They even reviewed it and still got it wrong. That was the game. I guess no one read my thread of "Great Win". The Robinson catch was a blown call too. No one touched him. I cant believe no one else has picked up on this. Where is jy19?

While I believe it was a fumble too.....The key was it was not ruled a fumble......based on the replays available, there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call.....One angle you see the knee down, but not the ball...the other you see the ball out, but not the knee....Based on the replays, they had no chice but say the play stands.....They have alot of these calls...that could be wrong, but not enough evidence to overturn the call on the field......Every team benefits from and are victims to these calls....

The ball was coming out on his way down. You have to rule a fumble. The ruled him down b/c the official had a bad angle of the play. The replay should have reversed it. Anytime a player looses control of the ball on his way down, it should be ruled a fumble. I thought that was so obvious yesterday. The refs knew they blew that call.

Dean, I'm right here bud! I also believe it was a fumble. The refs made a bunch of boneheaded calls, with quite a few going our way. That personal foul in OT against their secondary I thought was a bad call. It gave us a first down on the 13. I'm sure a Viking fan could say that call cost them the game.

As lonewater said, bad calls go both ways and are part of the game. I try not to use bad calls or injuries as an excuse because sounds too much like a cowboys fanbase. In reality, if you lose on a bad call, you've done a few things throughout the game to lose it before the call.

In OT the Chargers DB led with his knee to hit Garcon when he was already down. It was the right call to make. What call went our way yesterday? What about the Robinson play?

The Vikings are just stupid that is why they lost that game. Walsh is one of the best kickers in the league. Why would you got for it on 4th and 1 in the 1st qtr. That was 3 points. Plus at the end of the game, I know it was a 54 yarder but its a dome and you have a great kicker to go up by 6 with less than 3 minutes to play. Instead they punt to give Romo another shot to beat you. Stupid.

What call went our way....lets see...when they called offensive pass interference against the chargers, and the wr and db were a few yards apart and never touched terrible call!!!!

One of those where the call on the field made the difference 100%. Evidence wasn't there to turn it either way. Had it been ruled a fumble, a challenge wouldn't have pulled it in the other direction either.

It comes down to conclusive evidence which is the way it should be to keep things standard. What you get in the end is even a challenge cannot overturn an incorrect call in some cases.

The offensive pass interference call on the Chargers was b/c one if the Chargers WR's was blocking down field before the ball was released. The refs and Dan Fouts got the number wrong.

The ball was lose when Woodhead was falling to the ground. The replay showed it. I thought it was a blown call.

And as far as Kerrigan and Rak getting held, that complaint is getting old, also. I have a buddy that is a college football Ref. He was actually one of the replacement NFL refs last year. We were talking about Rak and how it appears he is always being held. My buddy said that what Rak does, he brings on himself. His primary move is a bull rush where he positions himself under the armpit of the tackle and pushes him back. SO while it looks like holding, the tackle is at the mercy of Rak in a way. Most Refs won't call that as Rak is causing the entanglement. The only time they will call a hold is if they see the tackle actually grasp Rak as he attempts to untangle. It goes back to Rak needs to still develop other moves and Haslett needs to call some more stunts to get Rak free.

I agree. However, what was inconclusive was where exactly was his knee when the ball first popped out. No replay showed that with 100% clarity. That is why it wasn't overturned. And, yes, I know you disagree and that it was clear to you.

what about the Woodhead TD? trying to find video of it, but no luck so far.

I know his leg knocked the pylon over, but prior to that, it looked like the ball hit it and caused it to wobble ever so slightly....then the ref, when announcing that the TD call was overturned, said the ball will be placed on the 6 inch line, which in reality means the 1 yard line?

The Woodhead TD wasn't even close. The ball was out of bounce when he stretched. The Pilon did not move. Great play by Amerson. Interesting about the RAK holding jy19. I agree stunts must be used more b/c of his speed.

I thought so at first, but on the replay it made me question it...hopefully someone will post up a video somewhere soon...in any case the ref is really bad at measuring if the ball was to be placed at the six inch line

but that being said, the chargers made some terrible play calls trying to punch it in from the 1, and if they couldn't get the td right there, they deserved to lose

I thought it was a poorly officiated game but I could see it going either way based on the video. There was a couple of phantom calls on both teams. Remember the push off on Keenan Allen that never actually happened?

That PI call that the Refs called on Keenan Allen was absolutely ridiculous, even I must admit he never pushed off..that phantom holding call against Chris Chester was pretty bad too. As for the Danny Woodhead fumble I agree with the call one angle it looked like the ball was coming out before his knee was down; the other angle showed his knee down.
