The Clippers crewed themselves over - when you have a bitchy ref with a trigger mouth at technical - then you learn to shut your pie hole and play the game. When the game is over then file a complaint with the front office. If you follow procedure - then things will level out in the future and won't repeat themselves. One game is not going to hurt the Clippers either way

There are some refs in the NBA that are known to be quick about handing out techs and some that are known for giving the players an opportunity to vent a bit. If you have one of the former, you keep your mouth shut. If you have one of the latter, you go ahead and complain a bit.

The ref didn't cost the Clippers a thing. Their own stupidity, lack of poise and inability to control their emotions cost them that game. It has cost them games before and it will continue to cost them games until they figure it out, which at this point, seems pretty unlikely.
