I guess we'll know more about Rudolph based on Lynch...if he gets promoted from the PS, Rudolph will not be the backup..

They don’t have to make that move until Saturday around 4pm if I’m not mistaken. Pretty sure that’s when Sunday game day rosters have to be submitted

Agree. Sutton has been playing well this season, he deserves the chance to start before Artie.

Let Artie play in nickel and dime packages, but he shouldn't be playing over Sutton.

We can question why, but Burns has been the CB3 (outside) since camp so apparently they want to keep Sutton in nickel and dime roles. Given how well Sutton has played, I can't imagine it will take long to get pulled if Burns is stinking it up.

Every year Artie has a good camp & looks good in practice. Don’t know why they keep getting fooled by this.

If Artie gets roasted on the 1st drive then I wonder how long they will leave him in there.

I will say this though. Artie is pretty good in press-man cover when he can get his hands on the receiver. Steelers have been playing that a lot lately.

The injury bug has officially rendered us useless. No need to predict anything. Let's hope for a mistake-free game and let's hope Devlin can improve on his performance from last week. Will be interesting to see how Benny Snell does as the backup to Conner.

A lot of eyes on Devlin for obvious reasons, but Snell is definitely getting overlooked. Easy to think that Fichtner will just dial up more touches for Conner, but I’m hoping we see a mini coming out party of sorts for Mr Snell Yea.

Starting Artie this week may be a last-ditch attempt at promoting value and trying to move him.

NFL trade deadline is Oct 29th.

Thoughts? I know he doesn’t have much value, but getting anything in return would be good.

My gut tells me they know Sutton is their depth guy moving forward... And the timing of giving Artie 1st team in wake of Nelson a few weeks before the trade deadline...

I'd be surprised if they don't announce he's been traded in the next few weeks. Package him & Barron and take whatever they can get.

Wouldn't mind trading Artie but the sad part is, he was a 1st rounder, we'll be lucky to get a 3rd for him.

Straight up they'll be lucky to get anything more than a 5th. Steelers gave the Browns a 6th Rd pick for Justin Gilbert.

Makes perfect sense. Seriously if he shows any promise they finally get a sell high on him.
Especially with the ST play he could add value to a team.
