Akers really mailed it in when he got that last big contract.

I'm happy this is happening now as opposed to the post season. Seeing how bad he is only gives us that "lucky" (for lack of better words) opportunity for us to take swift action before the playoffs begin. If we get the bye wee, we can use that time to tryout more kickers. Could be a blessing in disguise.
