I shouldn't miss much (if any) of the finals.

Monday I fly to Atlanta (my plane lands at 3:00pm) then have a 1.5 hour drive to my sisters in S Carolina where I will be staying until the 11th or 12th before a two day drive to Ohio.

If we leave on the 11th I should be able to catch the game (if necessary) that night in the hotel and should the series go seven games should be in Ohio for that one.

Good hockey fans always make sure they make their travel plans around the playoffs.

One exception was in 1999 when we went on a Caribbean cruise during the ECF and yes that was the year the Sabres went to the finals. It was booked in advance. That was BRUTAL !!

I think this series will go six or seven games.

Never made the mistake during hockey season, but I did schedule a flight during the first half of the 2010 World Cup Final. Sat in the lobby of an airport hotel to watch the second half because I would have missed the rest of the game in the taxi otherwise.
