Could play center and cut Lich, saving 3.75. Could play guard and cut Chester, saving 4.

Oh I like this idea a lot. I'm not as down on Lich as some others, I think he's OK. But Wisnewski would be an upgrade and he's younger. If his best position is center then play him at center.

I heard his original asking price was $5 mil aav. I am sure it has gone down some, but with many other teams passing on him, it might not have gone done by much. Plus you have to sure about his torn labrum.

Any help along the offensive line would be greatly appreciated.

What's interesting is that as of a week ago, Keim was told that there was no interest there. Someone's tamping down on news leeks. Not a bad thing at all. Feels like a professional organization is finally starting To emerge behind the scenes.

2015 Redskins Free Agency: C Stefen Wisniewski Visited the Redskins Last Week - Hogs Haven

Excerpt

Scot McCloughan and the Redskins are not likely to come anywhere near $4 million per year for Wisniewski, if they even have legitimate interest in him. ESPN's John Keim has been reporting for weeks that the Redskins had made no contact with him, and were not planning on it. The coaching staff seemed to be okay with going forward with Kory Lichtensteiger at center, and that still appears to be the plan. If Wisniewski were signed, it would likely not happen until after the draft in two weeks. If the Redskins plan on drafting a center this year to develop as a Lichtensteiger replacement, and miss out on their guy, they could look at Wisniewski again if he's available. Many Redskins fans would love to see him(or any warm body) brought in as a replacement to Lichtensteiger right now, but that doesn't seem likely.
