i want to bang on the drum all day
Leafs vs Wings at UM. Hell, I'd be more than tempted to make the trek out there. Plus the opportunity to peg Eddie Shack and WW with a snowball or two alone would make it worth the trip.
Cooler than Comerica.
Detroit and Islanders! Lol
Alright Wings fans, let's plan this fucker out right now. I'm in. Let's do this thing.
You know, this might be an ideal situation for a SportsHoopla NHL board meet-and-greet.
Vancouver - Boston..... meet in the middle
Sharks vs Wings, bitches.
I'm certainly planning on going, but the last two times I bought NHL tickets, the game never occurred, so I don't know if I should risk everyone's happiness on my curse.

The Big House... now open to disabled people! (ugh)
 :slapjeffsfacewithmypalm:
ARE YOU DRUNK!?!?
No way, gotta be Wings vs. Leafs.
A pretty basic position NBC has maintained is no Canadian teams for the WC. I can't imagine it won't be two American franchises.
I feel that's about to change, especially after this past summer's Stanley Cup Final.
Besides, no one has out right said at any time that no Canadian team will be involved in the Winter Classic.
NHLs COO John Collins: "Absolutely, there should be more Canadian teams in these games". "I think there are a lot of markets that would be fantastic," he said. "I'd like to ultimately see these games not viewed as a regional matchup or a Canada game or a U.S. game, but really kind of a celebration of hockey. If you're a hockey fan — whether you're a Canadian hockey fan or an American hockey fan or a Flyers fan or Flames fan — these games are special and unique and you should be tuning in even if your favourite team isn't playing in the game.

WW, this is your cue...
Wings vs Leafs would be a big draw with all the fans of both teams from southern Ontario.
KuklasKorner : The Malik Report : Red Wings go the ‘no comment’ route regarding Winter ClassicUpdate: The Fan 590’s Greg Brady reports that the Red Wings want to host the event at Comerica Park because they’d receive both a cut of suite sales and want crowds to head to Cheli’s Chili and the Hockeytown Cafe instead of everywhere between Detroit and Ann Arbor to eat and drink. Brady says that the fact that the NCAA would demand a cut of the NHL’s pay-out to the Wings, and the fact that the NHL would have to receive a license to sell beer at the Big House, make things a little tricky.
