All I can think is the refs thought is was a dive so chose to not call anything. or they just didn't see it.

It's bad enough losing games that they deserve to lose, but to see the refs gift this game to the kings is brutal and I still want to know what the hell kronwall was doing on that second goal.

Reffing evens out at the end of the season
Perhaps the Red Wings got the short end end this one, but look at the Blues game earlier this year when Backes got the match penalty.

I'd guess they didn't see it; the puck is going the other way and while you can see the headshot on replay, the ref wasn't looking in that direction and it was very difficult to see from the linesman's perspective (it looks like Penner is trying to get around him from that angle, and you can't see the shot to the head).
Penner's getting games with an s though, that was kind of pointless.

Great game. The Kings seem to have their mojo back. Of course 2 five on three powerplays helped. Lots of good hits. Datsyuk's move on Doughty & his flip of the puck over the defenders head were unreal. What amazes me about Datsyuk is he just does these things like they're no big deal. He makes it look so easy.
