I just watched one of the post game pressers where Manning refrained from ripping into a reporter for asking a stupid question. Manning was a stand up guy about it. Did the interviews. Spoke candidly. (although he really didn't have to)

Can you imagine Kaepernick after a loss like that? He'd probably say, "It was nothing they did it was more of what we didnt' do. We just didn't execute."

Hat off to ya Peyton.

he certainly has more class than half the Seattle fan posters here.

its fascinating how simple minded people need to say someone sucks to validate their liking or disliking another player or team.

Agreed. Always been a huge Peyton Manning fan. I really don't like all the attention he gets in the media. And IMO he gets too much credit for his teams' wins while also taking too much blame for his teams' losses. But the guy seems like a great person (obviously never met him in person) is always classy in his interviews and I appreciate what he's done in the NFL.

Ok dirtbag, how about you provide just TWO examples of this ridiculous statement?

I will wait.

You expect reasoning and proof from a troll? Did breaker not teach you anything? These guys are only here to rile up people and love it when people bite on their stupidity. He will never take back stuff he says that isn't true or give credit to anyone else. It goes against the troll code.

I don't think any reasonable person has ever questioned Peyton's class.

Eli on the other hand... that was kind of a punk thing to do to San Diego.

As usual you take a shot at a Niners player, even when praising another player. Your hate for them is palpable.

Everybody is yakking about Manning's "legacy". To me his legacy is he usually folds in the big game. The one time he didn't, his team faced the no offense Bears. Remember, when Tennessee finally won a college championship, it was the year AFTER Manning left, after he consistently lost the one big game that would have won it all. Led by a nobody quarterback named Tee Martin. How well did Martin do in the pros? How many times did Tom Brady whip his butt? (And I don't like Brady, either)

You know, I was driving into work this morning listening to KNBR. For those of you who don't know its the home of the Niners (along with the Giants and Warriors). Anyhow, they're salivating over Wilson's performance in the SB and his appearance on the Letterman show last night. "Oh...he's a leader this, polished that, he creates, etc, etc, etc."

Radnich ask's Larry Bruce, "OK Larry, I'll ask you who would you rather take? Kaepernick or Wilson". Bruce responds, "Well I hate to admit it, but it's obvious. You gotta go with Wilson. God bless Kaepernick and his potential upside, but Wilson's proven".

Pretty sad that even the guys from the Home of the 49ers flagship station would admit that on air.:laugh3:

Its not sad at all, they are being honest. Kap has some maturing to do and as a QB, nobody really knows how he turns out with a few more years experience. Press conferences are not his strong suit.

No sense being bitter

DEN was thoroughly spanked...what else can you really do aside from tip your cap to SEA? In terms of the reporters questions and his responses...Manning is a big picture guy and I'm sure didn't say what he really wanted to say...He's somewhat iconic now, meaning he will continue to get endorsement revenue long after he's done playing.
