And finally after 20 ball bounces it was over. Andoo needed just an extra couple of inches in height to get more serves over the net: a problem that short people have had over the years in finals. Maybe John Isner could have done it.

So happy for Djokovic.

Been a rough 2 years for him but he is back boys.

Hard court season should be fun especially the final GS of the year at the US Open.

I'm ready to purchase my US Open QF tickets now.

Have fun. Not sure I will make it. Want to be there, but work may not allow for it this year.

I may go in the 2nd round and just do a GA ticket. Much cheaper and I get to see more matches

Halep vs. Kerber SF: This is becoming some kind of rivalry. No result would surprise me, but I'll pick a possible surprise and say Kerber in 3.

Stephens vs. Wozniacki SF: Wozniacki in 2. Just a guess.

Kerber vs. Wozniacki Finals: Very tough call. Kerber in 2.

@Old Lion , look at that, I got the Finals winner right. :)

They have a roof but curfew is at 11.

Not sure if Rafa and Novak can finish their match today depending on how long this match is

Why do they have curfew?

Fucking amazing match through 3 sets between novak and rafa.

Incredible day of tennis.

Oh yeah, fuck the Wimbledon curfew

Both SFs were great. I enjoyed them both.

This is why I don't like tiebreakers. You don't know when the drama will end.

I love getting sucked into unexpected long matches.

The broadcasters were annoying. John McEnroe kept calling the FED vs. Anderson the matinee, and said he wanted to get to the marquee matchup.

Every 2 games, he'd talk about how Novak and Rafa were waiting.

Well hello, that happens in every round. The match that's not first, has to wait.

McEnroe did the same thing during the 2015 FO QFs. He was commenting on the FED vs. Wawrinka match, but kept talking about the Djokovic vs. Nadal match. He kept saying his match was the matinee, and he was more excited about the other one.

He ruined the experience.

FED vs. Anderson was a good match in its own right. They played hard. There was great tennis. That's what I wanted to see. The names didn't matter. The skill and mental toughness was great.

McEnroe has become very annoying a lot of times.

I just realized that the mens semis had noone under 30. I think that only happened once before in history.

Yeah, that was a funny occurrence.

i'm not as good at ignoring utter stupidity

What did you think of the French Open and Wimbledon? Any reactions to some of the matches?

I see your profile has the Astros and Twins. And Padres.

Do you like a few teams? Because it appeared you were a Seattle sports fan, from this post.

I was going to ask if you thought the Mariners would make the playoffs this year. And your thoughts on Felix Hernandez coming out of the bullpen.

Mariners and Seahawks. :)

Oh.

You seemed happy about them winning 2 years ago, so that's why I thought you liked them.

All 3 sporting events that I wanted to watch today started at 1 pm.

And all 3 ended how I wanted! Yay!

Congrats to Stan the Man!

The idiot calling the Cubs/Astros game just called Nole Djovak Nokovic, by the way.
