And just like that, there goes our first round pick.....
Business as usual at the Paul.

How do our 1st round picks manage to get hurt in practice every year? Maybe it’s time to change what we are doing.
What's sad is that Zac Taylor comes from the Sean McVeigh "Fuck it, we're not really going to do anything requiring actually hitting during the preseason" school of coaching..... I mean, they didn't even have full pads on. This doesn't bode well for his future.
I would have to image this stems from a weight lifting accident more than anything. This does suck ass. I was not expecting him to be our savior this year, but I was expecting him to play well and learn from this rookie year to be more dominate in year two before all our pieces start vacating the building. *sigh*
There have also been whispers in the past that Saban's kids are beat up when they make it to the NFL. We certainly saw it with McCarron. I don't think Saban has any 'Friday Night Lights' type of stuff going on down there at Bama, but when you're back-up is also a 5-star blue-chipper, you probably have a lot of incentive to play even when you're hurt.
Eifert had 39 catches for 445 yards and 2 touchdowns his rookie year. Really not to bad for where he was picked.... And he definitely had one or two big moments that season.
Ironic that Eifert is known as our one 'healthy' first rounder.

Yup. Since the last CBA the conditioning of players has suffered and more players are getting serious injuries in meaningless preseason games and early in the season.
just outlaw tackling, and blocking. problem solved.
